Hawaiian wisdom

A little more about Aloha

‘Alo’ – to be in the presence of another or to be present

‘ha’ -the breath

When you use Aloha as a greeting or a parting, acknowledge that you are in the presence of another, sharing breath. Breath is life.

When the word Aloha is used mindfully, it is so much more than a word. It is the intention of one person to be fully present with another.
